This Monday

 This time, I will write about this Monday happening. On Monday, I always go to university from English speaking course on 5th period, so I can sleep in every Monday. Of course, I slept in and got up at about 9am this Monday. When I go to university from 5th period, I always leave home at 11:30am because I go to university from Hyogo by conventional train and bullet train. At 11:10am, I prepared for going to university and made sure whether the train which I will take was delayed or not. However, the moment I checked it, I was surprised that the trains were stopped due to an accident. I knew that the trains(JR Kobe Line) are often delayed due to an accident and stopped due to an accident last Thursday. So, I could not expect that an acident happened. Beacuse of it, I could not move from the closest station and had to wait for about one hour and 30 minutes. In the end, I was absent from the class of 5th period because I arrived at university at 14:30. In November, three accident occured on JR Kobe Line. I really hate JR Kobe Line because train delays occur frequently.

Big Contract

 Today, MLB got excited about a topic. Texas Rangers signed ace right-hander Jacob deGrom to a five-year free-agent contract. The deal will pay deGrom $185 million. deGrom, 34, is one of the greatest pitchers of his generation, a two-time National League Cy Young Award winner when he played for the New York Mets. I would like to expess my feelings about this contract. I thought that Rangers really wanted an elete starting pitcher. This season, Rangers ended 4th in AL west. As one of the causes, starting pitchers' ERA is 4.63(25th in MLB). So, for the Rangers who want to compete from next season onwards, deGrom must have been wanted as an ace pitcher. This strong feeling was read from the term of this contract. In fact, deGrom has not pitched a full Major League season since 2019 because of repeated injuries. My weekend

 Saturday, I went my grandmother's house with my mother. I drove to there from my house for the first time. The distance from my house to my grandmother's house is about 130km, and it takes about two hours. At first, I was a little nervous because people who live around my hometown (they are Himeji  people) usually drive in a rough way(very short distance between two cars,many unnecessary lane changes...). However, the day of Himeji byepass was relatively calm, so I also could be driving calmly. Also, there was one happy thing for me. When I was driving on a motor highway, I moved climbing lane for the car which was driving behind me to overtake my car. the car turned on the hazard lamps when my car was overtaken. The driver is very kind because turning on the hazard lamps means "Thank you". I felt happy and driving may be fun then. However, I was tired because of long drive, so the return was my mother's driving.
